About the Author - Liz Mullinar
AM, B.Th, M.Couns
Liz Mullinar is a survivor of childhood trauma and the founder of Heal For Life Foundation. Heal For Life centres in Australia, UK and the Philippines have helped over 8,500 adults and children heal from their childhood trauma through an affordable five day, residential program for trauma recovery.
The Heal For Life model empowers survivors to recognise that they have the knowledge and ability to heal. It promotes autonomy and self efficacy. The model recognises that while counselling is extremely important for recovery, survivors can learn the skills they need to release deep emotions themselves to facilitate their own healing. This book is a guide to do that.
Liz is an internationally renowned speaker and has delivered many papers at international conferences on the Heal For Life Model of healing. She is the author of two books published by Hodder Headline: Breaking The Silence and The Liz Mullinar Story. She is a member of the Order of Australia for services to the Arts and survivors of trauma, and in 2000 was awarded inaugural Australian Humanitarian of the Year Award.

Liz is available for speaking events, interviews and research collaboration projects in Australia and around the globe. For more information please visit Liz’s keynote speaker website. For bookings and further information, please contact us.
